Crazy wine. Favourite thing I've ever made, but know that it's weird.
Fruit from 15 year old vines in Upper Yarra. Lightly botrytised (but not a desert wine) Extremely long, slow wild yeast barrel ferment.
Emphasis is still on primary fruit but showing lots of air exchange characters from its time in barrel. Basically fruit balanced with nutty/savoury characters. Small amount of residual sugar balancing the fruit and weight.
